Our Policies:
Cleaning:
Cleaning Limitations: While we take the utmost care, we cannot guarantee against color loss, bleeding, shrinkage, or damage to delicate fabrics due to faulty manufacturing, fading, or normal wear and tear.
Stain Removal: While we make every effort to remove stains, we cannot guarantee complete removal. Payment is required regardless of stain removal success. Additional stain treatments may require a signed release.
Fabric & Material Disclaimer: We cannot assume responsibility for inherent weaknesses, stains, prior damage, or defects that are not readily visible before cleaning.
Trimmings & Accessories: We disclaim responsibility for damage to beads, buckles, buttons, belts, shoulder pads, sequins, zippers, and other embellishments.
Household Items & Specialty Fabrics: All household items, leather, and suede garments are cleaned at the customer’s own risk.
Health & Safety: We do not accept garments infested with scabies, bed bugs, mites, fleas, or other parasites. We also reserve the right to reject any item that may pose a health risk to our employees.
Personal Items: Please check garments for money, jewelry, detachable buttons, cufflinks, belts, or other valuables before drop-off. While we will attempt to return any found items, we cannot be held liable for lost personal belongings.
Special Circumstances: Garments that may transfer colors easily (such as polyester and synthetic materials) may be refused at our discretion.
Pick-up:
Final Check: Customers are responsible for verifying their order to ensure all items are present before leaving the store. We disclaim liability for any missing items once the order has left the store.
Item Count Accuracy: Discrepancies in count must be addressed at the time of pickup. If a miscount is found during processing, we will notify you upon pickup.
Disputes: Any concerns must be reported to management within 24 hours of receiving your order.

FAQ’s
-
A: Dry cleaning is a specialized process that uses a solvent instead of water to clean garments. This method is particularly effective for delicate fabrics and items that cannot withstand the agitation of traditional washing machines. At Glam-O-Rama Cleaners, we use hydrocarbon, an environmentally friendly dry cleaning solution that effectively cleans your garments without leaving any moisture behind.
-
A: Items made of delicate fabrics like silk, wool, cashmere, and some synthetic materials should be dry cleaned. Garments with special finishes, structured tailoring, or embellishments also benefit from dry cleaning.
-
A: There are many benefits to using professional dry cleaning, but the most important one is prolonging the life of your garments while keeping them looking their best. Dry cleaning solvent is much gentler than water, helping to preserve delicate fabrics and prevent shrinking or fading. Additionally, it is highly effective at removing grease and dirt, which water alone may not fully eliminate.
-
A: Wet cleaning is an alternative to dry cleaning that uses water to clean certain garments. The decision to wet clean is based on factors such as the garment's care label, the type of fabric, and the stains or soils present. We use professional-grade detergents that are different from those available for home use. These specialized detergents allow us to safely clean garments that typically cannot be submerged in water.
-
A: Like wet cleaning, laundering involves cleaning garments in water. Specialized high-alkaline, enzyme-based detergents are used to achieve excellent soil removal. If requested, starch is applied as a bath process after the final rinse. Unlike home laundering, where shirts and pants are dried before ironing, we press garments directly from the washer using specialized equipment. This pressing-until-dry technique creates a smooth, professional finish that cannot be replicated at home and prevents shrinkage caused by dryers.
-
A: We use specialized stain removal techniques for oil-based, water-based, and set-in stains. While we achieve excellent results, not all stains are 100% removable, especially if they have set for a long time or have been treated incorrectly at home. Bring in your stained items as soon as possible for the best chance of removal.
-
A: The plastic bags are provided to protect your garments during transport. However, for long-term storage, it’s best to keep garments uncovered or in breathable fabric garment bags to prevent moisture buildup and allow proper airflow.
